Trying to keep it interesting

Sometimes its easy to get focused to get too focused on gear... from watching youtube reviews of the latest cameras and lenses to reading articles on the cutting edge technologies that are supposed to advance you photos to the next level. How about just getting out there and shooting for once. I can at times be too critical of my own work to shoot, but you gotta keep doing it and having fun with it.

I don't take too many pictures of myself, but here is one using a bedroom lamp, and your every day desk light. Pretty cool how dramatic your results can be when you control your own light.
