Are you who you think you are?

This is a question I have been exploring lately, and I'm coming to interesting conclusions...

I've always thought of myself as a very shy individual who is often timid and easily gets anxious. While this is true in many ways I'm finding it to be true of me only when its of something that I'm not passionate about or have not gone through something that has put me to the test.

Growing up, I've always been into sports and being active. In my corporate job, people will ask about my weekend and I may tell them I was mountain biking or climbing a mountain. They look at me like I'm crazy, and ask if I was scared. I look at them puzzled, cuz to me these were normal activities.

You can do the same thing with your photography! You may take amazing landscapes, but have you ever tried doing a portrait session? Lean on your experience... I think you'll be surprised by the results!

P.S.

I shot my first corporate events last year internally, and had another great opportunity this summer with another company. Just shot my first Bat Mitzvah a couple weeks ago! - Happy Birthday Hannah
